proven numeracy development strategies for formative assessment and
differentiated instruction in alignment with RtI and the new Common Core
State Standards.
To provide a series of free, online professional development Webinars
that can be used by professional learning communities as they work
collaboratively on improving numeracy development of their students.
To develop capacity for primary grades Mathematics Intervention Teacher
leaders to support their colleagues in transitioning to the new Common Core
Standards with a greater focus on numeracy development.
To design and deliver in-person KNP workshops throughout Kentucky in
order to reach more teachers in understanding the importance of early
numeracy development.
To offer the KNP Intensive course for those who wish to learn more about
diagnosing student readiness and pinpointing student need in order to
deliver systematic, explicit, data-drive instruction.
