May 2008 KCM Updates
The focus of this group is to provide grade 6- 12 teachers (including special education) with the tools and expertise to effectively incorporate technology into math instruction for students. Meetings will focus on the different components of Microsoft Office to create teacher documents, the use of free and low cost software, the use of hardware including document cameras and airliners, and the effective use of the TI73-TI84 Plus/Silver edition calculators. There will be 8 meetings throughout the 2007-2008 academic year with your choice of two locations as listed below.
Registration Fee: A $1000.00 fee includes: eight meetings, materials, morning refreshments, lunch and facilitators’ costs. This cost breaks down to $125 per meeting. The same teacher should attend all 8 meetings rather than sending a different teacher each time. One training builds on the skills that we developed from the previous training.
