The Next Generation Scholarship Fund for HS seniors: Help us start 2011
out with a bang by letting students know about their chance to receive a $5,000
scholarship towards their engineering degree! The Next Generation Scholarship
Fund
http://www.jets.org/programs/scholarship/guidelines.html is a joint
effort by JETS and Power Engineering Magazine to increase student interest in
the electric power industry by awarding scholarships for high school seniors to
pursue a college engineering education.
The deadline for submission is March 1, 2011 so be sure to pass on this
information soon!

Math Moves U: Raytheon is proud to offer the MathMovesU Grants and Scholarships Program. This
program is intended to encourage participation and enthusiasm in math doing and
teaching. Middle school and high school students may apply for
scholarships and matching grants to their schools. Math Teachers may be
nominated by students, parents, other teachers, principals or school volunteers
for awards and matching grants to their schools or other non-profit
organizations dedicated to the improvement of math achievement.
