Free Kentucky Numeracy Project Professional Development

We are thrilled to announce Louisville, Kentucky as the location for the 2011 National Math Recovery Conference. The content and format of the conference is designed to take advantage of formal and informal learning opportunities. Sessions are for a variety of audiences including: elementary classroom teachers, Math Recovery Intervention Specialist teachers, Add+VantageMR teachers, SNAP teachers, school and district administrators, university teachers and those seeking information about research-based elementary math intervention programs.

Kentucky State University will be hosting a three week long summer bridge program to introduce a select group of rising 11th and 12th graders to science and engineering career opportunities. See the flyer and application form for this program funded by the National Science Foundation's Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
